A practical way to give each campaign a useful learning agenda.

Paid media
Write the hypothesis first
Before launching another ad variation, describe what you expect to learn. A hypothesis might compare a product demonstration with a customer-problem message. Keep the question specific enough that the result can inform the next decision.
Change one meaningful thing
When the audience, offer, headline and landing page all change at once, it becomes harder to explain why performance moved. Design a test around the decision you need to make and document what remains consistent.
Choose a useful signal
A click can suggest interest, but it does not describe the whole customer journey. Review the signal that matches the campaign objective and consider what happens after the click. Treat small samples and short time windows with care.
Keep a learning log
Record the hypothesis, creative, context and decision in one place. Over time, the log becomes a practical reference for the team. A test that rules out an idea can still be valuable when it prevents repeated guesswork.
